My name is Keith Furlong and I am a photographer and artist. My main interest is in landscape and wildlife photography. I like to paint subjects I have photographed and also seascapes and things of interest. I paint in oils and acrylics. Unless I am commissioned for a painting I generally use photography as my main interest due to the lack of storage space for paintings. I studied art at school and college, but my life has been mainly concerned in farming in the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. Now that I am retired from full time work, I can work on my main interests of art and photography. I spend a lot of time, with my wife, photographing in the beautiful Dumfries and Galloway regions of Scotland, the Yorkshire Dales and Northumberland Coast as well as the Lake District. All my photographs are for sale and offered as mounted prints in various sizes. Commissions are taken for paintings.
